Turbo nozzle If you choose to use a rotating nozzle, be very careful with the surface on which you use it. The pressure of a spray at 0° can damage wood, siding and some metals. However, for concrete, brick and other very hard surfaces, the rotating nozzle saves a lot of time. They are designed to work by connecting to a pressure washing lance through specific connections and cannot be directly connected to any other water source, such as a garden hose.
Like a surface cleaning accessory, a pressure wash broom divides a single stream of water into two or three jets for more power and a larger cleaning area. Gas-powered washing machines typically provide higher PSI (pounds of pressure per square inch) and GPM (gallons of water per minute) than the electric version. If you want to pressure wash your own concrete driveway, walkway, or patio, these are the supplies you'll need. If you know you're going to be cleaning large areas of concrete or that you need to get to a second floor, a heavy-duty pressure washer may be your best bet.
